Implementing New Standards for the Prevention and Treatment of Venous Thromboembolism is a unique opportunity to learn about the latest clinical guidelines for the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE), as well as national consensus standards and performance measures endorsed by the Joint Commission, the National Quality Forum, and the US Surgeon General. This CME initiative includes series of regional hands-on, interactive critical pathways workshops, teleconferences, and a resource library containing customizable implementation tools such as VTE risk assessment and prophylaxis order sets, diagnostic algorithms, and anticoagulation management tools available for download.
